Canada 8 Day Ice Hockey Tour Itinerary

Today we depart on our amazing opportunity to travel the world, compete internationally, and learn about Canadian hockey. Sit back, get some rest and enjoy the in-flight service. Upon our arrival, we are welcomed by our Canadian tour guide and take part in a driving orientation tour of Toronto. Visit the CN Tower with a ride up to the main pod where you get a great view of the city. Later this afternoon our team will take part in a training session as we loosen up our legs and prepare for our upcoming friendly games.
This morning we visit the Hockey Hall of Fame in downtown Toronto. The building is both a museum that tells ice hockey’s history and a place to commemorate the game’s best players, officials, and builders. The Stanley Cup is also housed here during most of the year. Tonight we attend a NHL game of the Toronto Maple Leafs to see some of the best hockey in the world (NHL schedule pending).
This morning we head out of Toronto to Niagara Falls. Here we get a view of the massive falls and the falls’ vertical drop of over 188 feet. You will be amazed at the amount of water that flows down the falls each second. In the late afternoon, we play against a top-level Canadian team. Following the game we take time to talk with the opposing players to learn the culture of this nation and the players’ thoughts on the beautiful game.

Game One vs. TBD

This morning we enjoy free time to explore Toronto on our own. This afternoon we attend a professional hockey team training session (if available). We get a close look at the drills, the pace of play, and how a pro player handles himself. Use this knowledge that was gained in an afternoon game against a local Canadian team. After our game, we will have the chance to bond with the players as we share time together over dinner.

Game Two vs. TBD

This morning we have a training session with an expert Canadian hockey coach. Canada is known around the world for the best hockey players and coaches. Next we travel to Ottawa, the capital of the province of Canada. Upon our arrival to Ottawa, we transfer to our hotel for dinner and overnight lodging.
Following breakfast, we enjoy an Ottawa city tour to see the buildings of Parliament Hill, Rideau Hall, and The Canadian Museum of Civilization. During this tour, you will learn about the current government of Canada and the history of this great nation. In the late afternoon, we will play against a top-level Canadian team. After our game, we will enjoy a post-game meal with time to interact and become better friends with the team we just played.

Game Three vs. TBD

Our final day of touring begins as we take the short drive from Ottawa to Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside of France. Your guide will introduce you to the pleasures of Montreal, including the spectacular Notre-Dame Basilica, the colorful port area, and Place Jacques-Cartier, the epicenter of the old city. Stop at Mount Royal for a panoramic view of the city before transferring to your Montreal hotel for a leisure-filled evening.
We say good bye to Canada and transfer to the Montreal airport to begin our journey home.
